Blonde Hair?!?

I get my hair colored blonde; it looks good but there are brassy colors in it. What should I tell my hair styler to do about this?

Easy, ask for her to tone it, and start purchasing So Silver from Matrix Essentials or the best, Pure Pearl conditioner by Redken. These products have blue/violet in them so they tone brass out of your hair and make the blonde a cooler shade.

have your stylist give you a toning treatment/wash your hair with a toner. It tones the color down so its not "pop in your face". They usually do it after they color your hair.

Tell her that you want it in an ash or cool tone. It'll keep the brass colour out of it.

well..you could either have brown hilights put in...or maybe have a slightly darker blonde. maybe your hair is trying to say that the blonde does not cover up your natural colour and you need something darker? xx

I also have blonde hair and I get lighter highlights in it. Mine looked brassy for awhile and I was talking to my spanish teacher about it and she said it was because they leave the foil on too long....I just told my hair lady that I didn't like the brassieness color and that I heard that if you leave it in too long thats what happens. I mean come on, I'm paying her 300 dollars, she better listen! So we rinsed it earlier than we usually did and the brass was gone!!
