I want blonde hair!!?

my hair is strawerry blonde. i put lemon juice on it yesterday and it had a slight effect. but, i used all the lemon juice. i live far out so going and getting a kit isn't really an option for me. Im just wondering, if i put peroxide on my hair, what will happen? or is there any other safer home remedies. id prefer not to have green or orange hair. so, what would you do with household items???

lemon juice will lighten hair slightly in sunlight but as for household products i strongly recommend that you dont try anything, you will only do damage to your hair and possibly scalp, peroxide will do nothing to your hair unless you have a chemical in the peroxide that is intended to change the hair colour, all that happens when you poen peroxide is it releases oxygen, it is the oxygen that reacts with a colour to change to hairs colour, if you do decide to go to a store make sure you get something with ash undertones as this will neutralise the red in your hairs natural pigment and will not give a brassy appearence, i would recommend that you go to a salon and seek advice though

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use peroxide or you will end up with burnt blown out orange hair and I promise you will hate it. If you want blonde hair take the time and money to do it right. Go to a stylist. They will be able to get you to the blonde hair you want with out as much damage as if youwere to do it on your own. If you dont want to go to a stylist try sun in. Its about the best thing to use to get blonder hair w/o using a lightener. Again PLEASE DO NOT USE PEROXIDE ON YOUR HAIR. Go to a professional please!
