You should really ask a professional hair stylist. I think you can change it to blonde, but as far as i know you have to do it a few times (dont do it too close, you ll destroy your hair) My hair is very dark brown, almost black, and i did a stip of blonde once and it only came out lighter brown, hardly obvious until the sun .. years later, so i recommend you have to do it a few times before you get it blonde... and use a good brand, maybe the brand caused it to be orange.. mine didnt turn orange

Can you dye orange hair blonde?

yes you can as orange is lighter than black, however in the future you may want to strip your hair with products such as blondissma, as this will take all the black out of your hair and it will then go orange. I have been every colour you can imagine, so if you are wanting to go really blonde like platinum, i would suggest buying herbal essences xl 10. It =is the blondest you can go, also make sure that you are using profesional conditioner to help with the damage all the dyeing has caused, maybe even get your hair trimmed. Hope this is helpful!

I'd say it's time to get to a salon; with so many different things having been done to it, your results are going to be very unpredictable no matter what you do.

depending on the level orange you are,you can color your hair to a blonde-ish color.i suggest going to a professional, only a licensed cosmo can guarrantee satisfactory results.the matrix socolor line has beautiful blondes, reds, and browns.mastercuts uses this line and is very reasonably priced.a copper gold would be a good transitional color.

Yes, but you will need to bleach it. Orange and red are the hardest colors to eliminate when lightening hair. I suggest going to a professional hair stylist, one that preferably uses Redken products, or you could have a bigger mess. Store bought products aren 't going to be strong enough to lift that orange out- it's a very stubborn pigment. Being a former color specialist/ hair stylist for 15 years, I know that corrective coloring will cost you more in the end, so don't try this at home! And be sure to get a really good re-conditioner for after-Redken's Extreme Conditioner is great. (and no, I don't work for Redken, just used it and love it)

Unfortunately black hair color is extremely hard to get out. Usually when lightening hair back to blonde from black You have to use powder pre lightener mixed with peroxied 20 volume or higher. When you apply this prelightener it should be applied at the mid strand first, then roots, then ends. Typically if you apply it root to end it is much lighter(or blonder) at the roots. Thats why Your suposed to apply it as such. There also are decolorizers out there that are only sold to beaty professionals. Those products take out black quickly %26amp; do less damage than lightners. If you know a professional that can get it for you I'd try rusk I.D. decolorizer. It works really well
