Hair Dye Turned Hair Ginger not Blonde?

My hair is naturally a mousey light brown colour. I had it done professionally so the lengths are blonde, however I dyed it at home today, and the roots have gone a light ginger colour.

Although the roots are now not light brown, the regrowth part does not match the rest of my hair at all.

What are my options to make it match the blonde hair that I have? What could I do at home / If I have to go to a salon what should I ask for ?

I'd try one more time at home...You should get that clairol born blonde s tuff..it bleaches your hair...Do that to the roots for like 20 minutes then add it on to the rest of your hair... Make sure you don't mix it all at once..do half and half. Hope i made sense. It will make your hair color more even..You might have to do it one more time after that but it will be worth it. Whenever I dye my hair blonde it is always a little orange at first..after you wash it a few times the orange will come out! good luck!
